The amazing subconscious problem solving

subconscious problem solving

subconscious problem solving

“If I had an hour to solve a problem I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions. We can’t solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.” – Albert Einstein –

Subconscious part our brain is defined as the part of our brain over which we do not have much control. A sudden slip and automatically your hands move to protect your face or some strange sound and your eyes widen – both of these phenomena along with a variety of other reflexes are happening because of subconscious parts of the brain.

It is said that our subconscious mind holds immense amounts of information, from subtle details to major points we usually end up remembering. Our conscious mind is just a small fraction and is capable of drawing miraculous amounts of information from the subconscious.

What are the extents of a subconscious brain?

We don’t know. We only began to scratch the surface of our subconscious capability.

How can I solve my problems subconsciously?

Various things can be done to improve the thinking capabilities and enhance subconscious mind’s power in daily life. For some it’s coffee and for others it is taking a shower or sitting at the beach and staring at the seaside. Relaxing along with meditation opens up the gates of your subconscious mind. Other than that, various yoga practices and physical exercises have shown to improve the thinking power.

Our daily problems can often be solved by our subconscious mind, and here is how you can do it:

  • Think about your problems before sleep

If you have some work or school problem, then you should think about it before sleeping. Thinking about it repeatedly makes it imprinted into the subconscious mind and while you are at sleep the subconscious mind can work out a solution.

Instead of simply thinking about magical solutions and impossible things that might save you, try focusing on the problem. Since before sleeping the body is in a relaxed mode, most of the answers or intuitions come when you are lying in bed. You should think about your problem for 5 minutes before going to sleep, and then leave it all up to your subconscious mind. Next morning, go to a calm place where nobody will disturb you and think about solution for 5 minutes. Even if you don’t find the answer immediately you will get an intuition that is often the subconscious mind’s answer.

  • Brainstorm

Brainstorming can be done through a number of ways and mostly includes focusing on the problem and looking at it through a variety of aspects and angles. Write down or think about all the ideas which might be generated as solutions instantly. These instant ideas are like reflexes of the body and will give you a compiled information based on the short assessment of subconscious mind.

Thinking about ideas through the variety of angles and in scenarios results in ultimately providing all the results through calculation of both conscious and subconscious mind. You can view these notes or thoughts at a later time for choosing the best solution.

  • Do some mindless activities

You might be mowing the lawn, washing the dishes, folding the clothes or just driving back from work, when you start thinking about your problems and a train of thoughts and solutions seem to go down in your mind. That is your subconscious mind working out the problems of your conscious brain while you focus on the other primary task. When you are caught up in some problem and you can’t find a solution, try with this exercise. Just chose some mindless activity or go for a walk in the woods or a park. Let your mind find a solution to your problem.

Using subconscious thinking as a way of solving problems may sound like a magic to you, but it really works. Lots of great mind used this method to find a solution when they didn’t know how to proceed with something they were doing. Just incorporate these simple steps into your daily routine and soon you will see how your problems are solved without sweat. It is simple as that.
